Duane Miller
Secretary
Duane was raised in a Christian home and at a very young age he was taught the salvation
message of Jesus dying on the cross and rising from the dead. He remembers very clearly at 8 years old being in his upper bunk bed and asking Jesus to forgive him of his sins and “come into his heart”. He really only understood that to mean that he was saved from hell and would one day be in heaven with Jesus. However, that decision came to guide his life and he believes Jesus did move into his heart that day in the form of the Holy Spirit. As he looks back over his teenage years, he was protected in so many ways from bad choices which would have resulted in bad consequences and even in his young adult years he turned away from certain choices he believes because of the Holy Spirit indwelling in him and reminding him of wrong and his desire to serve Him. He is thankful for the difference Christ has made in his life. He is the one that brings that stability to his marriage, his family, and his life.
He is married to his wife Yvonne (40 years in April). They have 3 married children with 11 grandchildren. They have been attending CFC since 1983. He has been a member since the early 90’s. He previously served as a deacon and elder. His other involvements have been facilitating men’s group gatherings, leading ABF’s and small groups and mentoring and counseling young couples (along with his wife Yvonne).
He has worked at Miller Church Interiors since 2001. They renovate and furnish churches, synagogues, and courtrooms.

Paul Hartline grew up in the West Lawn, Sinking Spring area west of Reading Pa. He graduated from Wilson High School and attended a main line denominational church. He was stationed at Hill AFB in Ogden, Utah from ’81-’83 and then at Ramstein AFB in Germany from ’83-’85. It was in 1982 while serving at Hill AFB that he put his faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. His faith grew at Rheinland Baptist Church in Kindsbach Germany. He was baptized at Rheinland Baptist Church and was part of a dynamic fellowship of believers there. He came home in 1985, attended Tennessee Temple University for one year and then finished a 4 year pastoral degree at Baptist Bible College (now Clark Summit University) in Clark Summit Pa.
He met his wife Marnita in 1986 and they were married in 1987. They have three children, Marcus, Ryan, and Kristen. They have 3 wonderful granddaughters, Lauren, Hannah, and Hawkins. Nelson grew up in a Christian home but found it hard to comprehend the goodness of God. The pursuit of adrenaline rushes and freedom to do as he pleased soon captured his heart. However, at 22 years old he had a serious accident. A lack of wisdom coupled with the unchangeable realities of life sent him flying out over a cliff and into a tree. Although this resulted in the loss of his left arm, suddenly God’s grace and call upon Nelson’s life became very clear to him. Nelson, now 45, has been following Jesus for 23 years. He has been married to Alexandra for 11 years and they have 3 children, Sylvia, Bryce, and Charity. Nelson has served as a teacher in CFC’s Adult Bible Fellowships for the last 7 years.
