Children's Ministry

We love kids at CFC!

Wednesdays – We welcome children ages 2-6th grade to join us on Wednesday nights for a time of fun, fellowship, and learning God’s truths through games, engaging Bible lessons, and verse memorization. (Our Wednesday nights Children’s Ministry is currently on hold for the holiday season.  We will resume on January 11th, 2023)

 

Sundays – Our caring and committed volunteers take the children through the Bible chronologically in a way that engages and challenges them to connect with God not only on Sundays, but throughout the week as well. Our desire is to provide a welcoming environment, with lessons rooted in God’s Word, that will lead children to a personal relationship with Christ and help them grow in their faith.

Mountain Movers: Birth – Grade 6

Vision: Partnering with families to help children be known to the body of believers while rooted deeply in Scripture in order to lead and love like Jesus. 

Current Children’s Services 

Sundays at 8:15, 9:30 & 10:45 a.m.

 

  • Infant Nursery: Birth through 12 months (all services)

     

  • Toddler Nursery: 13 months through 24 months (all services)

     

  • Discovery 2’s and 3’s: Age 2-3 (all services)

     

  • Discovery PreK: Ages 4-5 (all services)

     

  • Discovery K: Kindergarten (all services)

     

  • Adventure 12: 1st and 2nd grade (all services)

     

  • Adventure 34: 3rd and 4th grade (all services)

     

  • Quest 56: 5th and 6th grade (9:30 a.m.)

Buddy Ministry

If your child has special needs and would benefit from having a one-on-one buddy during their time in class, we offer a Buddy Ministry during our 10:45 service.  Please fill out this form before attending so that we can know to expect you and have a buddy assigned to help your child. If you would like to speak with someone before your visit, please contact Julie Myers at 717-354-8428 ext. 832.

Wednesday Night Clubs  

We have something for children age 2 up through 6th grade beginning at 7:00 p.m. each Wednesday evening.  Also, keep an eye

out on our events page for occasional free meals that take place beforehand!
