Pastoral Staff
Rev. Dr. Douglas C. Bozung – Lead Pastor
Doug regularly communicates God’s Word on Sundays and Wednesdays and oversees leadership development.
Graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary (ThM 1987) and Baptist Bible Seminary (PhD 2008).
Doug is married to Alicia (1982), they have two married children, Nathan and Charis, and four grandchildren. In his spare time Doug enjoys golf, reading, traveling, and many spectator sports, including Penn State football!
Rev. Dave Horst – Pastor of Adult Ministries
Dave oversees most adult ministry venues, including Adult Bible Fellowship (Sunday School), Women’s and Men’s ministry. Also, he is involved in visitation and supervises several staff.
Graduate of Lancaster Bible College (BS in Bible, 1982) and Moody Theological Seminary (MA in Ministry, 1996).
Dave is married to Cheryl (1980) and they have three adult children—Heather, Matt and Heidi, plus they have six grandchildren. In his spare time Dave enjoys walking, reading, music, going to the beach, exploring lighthouses, plus playing cards with family and friends.
Rev. Matt Meservy – Pastor of Outreach & Connections
Matt’s goal is to champion local outreach as well as to help new attendees and regular church members develop and grow in their faith together as part of God’s church.
He is a two-time graduate of Liberty University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Child & Family Psychology with a focus on Children’s and Youth Ministry and a Master’s Degree in Family Counseling.
Matt is married to Joanna and has 4 children – Kellen, Sadie, Cam, and Raleigh.
Julie Myers – Director of Children’s Ministry
Julie directs our ministry programs for children up through grade 6.
Graduate of Millersville University (B.Ed. 1995) and Capital Seminary & Graduate School (PG Cert in Children and Family Ministry 2019). She has been involved in the children’s ministry at CFC for over 20 years.
Julie is married to Joe (1996) and they have three grown sons – Nathan, Travis and Evan. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and relaxing at the beach whenever she gets the chance.
Tyler Noel – Minister of Music & Young Adults
Tyler oversees the music and worship teams on a weekly basis. He also assists in the discipleship of the young adults at CFC. He desires for the church to engage in meaningful worship of God through singing, playing of music, and other creative elements.
He is a graduate of Lancaster Bible College and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Worship and Performing Arts as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies.
Tyler is married to Shyanne and has 3 children – Arya, Ryder, and Lily. He loves playing and listening to music, watching movies, playing board games, and building Lego sets in his spare time.
Jason Rohrbaugh – Minister of Youth
Jason oversees the student ministry programs, grades 7-12.
He has been involved in children & youth ministries for over 20 years, both here at CFC and elsewhere.
Jason is married to Lena (2002) and they have 4 children – George, Emma, Henry, & Joey.
Support Staff
Rev. Larry Van Etten – Business Manager
Rev. Larry has been the Business Manager at CFC since March of 2019. He is responsible for much of the non-service activities at the church. This includes working with the Elders and Deacons on the annual budget, reviewing expenses, vendor contracts, maintenance issues, and overseeing the bookkeeper, the Facility Coordinator/Janitress, and the Office Manager. Larry also serves as an ABF teacher, has led a Community Group for 8 years and has mentored in the Men of Iron program for 6 years. Larry also chairs the CFC Finance and Tech committees. Larry and Sandy have been attending CFC since 2016. Larry received a master’s degree in religious education from Liberty Theological Seminary in 2010. He was ordained in 2023.
Trish Carr – Office Manager
Trish is responsible for the day-to-day office functions, administrative functions, and does a great job representing the ministry to people both inside and outside of the congregation.
