Show Hope’s Hope for the Journey Conference (formerly the Empowered to Connect Conference) is designed to encourage and equip parents and caregivers meeting the everyday needs of children impacted by adoption and/or foster care. The conference is also a much-needed resource for churches, agencies, and organizations in their care and support of the families and communities they serve.

OUR FOCUS - AN INTRODUCTION TO TBRI
Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) is a care model designed to help meet relational and developmental needs of children and youth impacted by trauma. TBRI considers the whole child (his or her brain, biology, behavior, body, and beliefs) and provides parents and caregivers with practial tools and insight to help their child(ren) reach his or her highest potential. Throughout this conference, we will learn key principles of TBRI that will empower parents to meet the needs of children and youth impacted by trauma.
