An Adult Bible Fellowship (ABF) is a group which provides you with an opportunity to be a part of a smaller community within CFC with the aim of growing you closer to the Lord. ABFs are groups of generally 15 to 30 attenders who meet together each Sunday morning at 8:15, 9:30, or 10:45. The size of these groups makes interactive learning very effective and relationships easy to form. ABF classes provide opportunities for Bible study, building relationships, prayer and service. In short, ABFs provide you with the chance to grow as a follower of Jesus Christ.  Another great thing about ABF’s is that they are always open to new people joining!  We’d love to have you join an ABF on your first Sunday at Christian Fellowship Church.

This Sunday, April 21

In lieu of our 9:30 ABF’s, please join us in the gym for a full breakfast and presentation from our youth ministry who is looking to raise money for their upcoming missions trips this summer. Don’t forget to check out the new “envelope board” and Rent-a-Student table!

For 8:15 & 10:45 ABF’s, there will be introduction to the Jonah study.

Jonah: When God’s Purpose Isn’t in Your Plans

(April 28 – June 9)

A 6-part study of the book of Jonah. In this story we will learn about God’s grace, compassion and love-even toward wayward people-and his committment to spreading his message. God is determined to spread His Word to all the nation of the earth and use his people to do it. The book of Jonah shows us that God desires to transform the hearts of his followers, making them more like him as they carry out his purpose in the world.

Mark

The Gospel of Mark chronicles Jesus’s journey from Galilee to Jerusalem. Along the way, the Messiah gathers a ragged band of disciples. As crowds grow and dwindle on the road to Jerusalem, only a few stick by the Suffering Savior on the road of discipleship.  Tracing the steps of Jesus and the Twelve through Israel, we will explore the major themes of the Gospel of Mark, and ask: Are we willing to take this journey to embrace discipleship?
